Bigfoot War The End eBook Eric S Brown

I believe this is the first time that I have not given Eric S Brown a 5 star review and I will tell you why. The Bigfoot War series has been a huge favortie of mine. I have litterally begged others to purchase and read this books. They have, and they have also ejoyed them. They are truly incredible and imaginative in a way that no author has been able to capture. This book included. So why the 3 stars? Do you remember in the book Misery by Stepehn King, when the Authors captor makes him start up a series that he had ended? The first chapter was rejected by Annie Wilkes becuase the author tried to get off easy and did not do justice to the series. That is the perfect analogy for this book., The series ended but without a bang. This book could have been a full blown novel, instead it is a good story line that's ending is way too rushed to do this book and this series justice. I am truly dissapointed. The ship crash lands and the story begins full of potential. I was excited because the story line has continued to progress through time (another added bonus to this series). Then BAM! BIGFOOTs attack, then BAM! everyone is dead end of story, end of series. maybe 10 (kindle) pages of bigfoot in this one. Dang Eric I do not like to criticize you, but you did your fans wrong with this one. REDO!

Bigfoot War The End eBook Eric S Brown Reviews

This was a short one. I know a lot of the Bigfoot War books are only like 50-60 pages, but this was even shorter. I started it and finished it in a matter of 30 minutes! However, just because it's short doesn't mean it's not a darn good book. Given the number of pages this book is (the paperback format), there's plenty of action.

The characters were believable, and so was the overall settings. I love how he goes far into the future, as he does with a few other books, and has civilization basically gone. A very fast, and very super-duper enjoyable read.
It's insane that this series started in Babble Creek, North Carolina and ended up here, but really, there's no other way this all could have ended. Like the rest of Brown's Bigfoot War series, this was a quick fun read. I won't go into detail because I don't want to ruin anything, but fans of these books won't be disappointed. As sad as I am that this is the end, I'm happy to have experienced it in the first place.
Have to say Eric brings the legend to life in his books. I highly recommend for others to read. Eric gives you a roller coaster ride of adventure.
not your happy ending....the lesson of these stories....don't go looking for Bigfoot. Be happy there is no proof.

"darkness of giants" may be a better tale for the weak hearted
This whole series was a little disjointed to me. It was difficult to determine which book was next in the series and some books while stating they were next in line were actually written as if the story line occurred before one or more of the previous books. The author even stated as such.
I've read nearly all the Bigfoot War books and truly loved the first two. Some of the others were good but not quite up there with the first installments. I worried that this wouldn't be as good either. However, I was wrong.... I love this installment,. It feels like a really good Military sci-fi story combined with Sasquatch. It had a genuine creepy ominous feeling to it leading to the end. Great job!
Sadly this may be The End of Bigfoot Wars, It could have been a lot better I agree. To me it felt like one of Eric's Movie tie-in books. Let's cram as much in to 90 min then have a 15 min climatic ending, the end. It was lacking in the Bigfootedness that I have come to expect.

Do I wish it was longer, do I wish Eric had taken a little more time to expand the story, do I wish I knew more oh yes, yes and yes.

Hopefully down the line Eric will revisit Bigfoot Wars The End and expand on it. He gets four stars for what's there, was almost 3. But for what was there is was well written. The characters were decently fleshed out and they told their story.
